About Us
Mountain View Streets for All is a local non-profit organization dedicated to making our streets safe and enjoyable for people of all ages and abilities, whether they are traveling as pedestrians, cyclists, public transportation riders, or drivers.
We envision a city where getting around is a joy:
A network of trails, protected bikeways, and bike boulevards that connect schools, parks, libraries, nearby shops and restaurants, and public transit.
Seniors and people with mobility challenges are independent and connected through streets and sidewalks designed for them.
Streets are beautiful public spaces incorporating nature, art, seating, and human scaled elements like signs and lighting.
Children and families feel safe and comfortable walking and riding to school, parks, and businesses.

Our History
Mountain View Streets for All was founded in 2022 when two community groups, Great Streets Mountain View and Safe Mountain View, joined together. Both groups had very similar missions and worked closely together in our advocacy work over the years so it was a natural transition.
